We Are All Scientists is a hands-on community science festival in Detroit, presented by Digital Arts & Creative Studios | EDMC. For one joyful day, kids, families, scientists, artists, and neighbors explore how science lives in everyday life — because curiosity belongs to everybody, and every child deserves to see themselves as a scientist.
What began as a celebration of young people’s questions has grown into an annual festival where student scientists present their own projects, pilots and engineers share flight simulators, handlers bring live horses for animal-science encounters, and artists show how creativity and science feed each other. There are no velvet ropes here: visitors touch, build, ask, draw, and discover — side by side with working scientists from their own community.
